Sumner probably from the Eagles, but clubs may baulk against his height.
Goldsworthy may be the only other one, thought he had a reasonable year. Would probably be his last chance.

Will be interesting to see how many 21+ age players get picked up this year. Most mature age picks over the last couple of years have acquitted themselves pretty well, so will be interesting to see whether this becomes part of recruiting or only been temporary because of the expansion teams and the next two years drafts supposedly being pretty strong.

Unfortunately I agree. Also there are at least three clubs interested in Daniel Currie.

I don't know enough about the talent running around in the SANFL to know who is a shot, and even they're not mature aged, you would assume Toumpas and Aish will be on AFL lists next year.

The only thing I will add is that Ian Callinan HAS worked, and is not without a shot of having an AFL premiership medal dangling around his neck.

Aish is too young still I think? Toumpas has been touted as a top 5.

Justin Hardy would be worth taking a risk on. He's hugely built, tall, can take big one-grab marks & kicks straight!

I was only thinking about that before...

Not sure if there has been a situation similar to this, should it eventuate, in the past?

I'd assume he would be aligned to Sturt because that was his last registered SANFL club but maybe Giles would get to pick?

Who knows?

Callinan has been a fantastic pick up in my opinion and exactly what the crows needed around goal.

Cachia and Batsanis are a chance

Dean terlich is only 21 or 22 i think...

Sumner will go for sure. The only question mark some clubs might have is his attitude which led to him leaving Sydney.

Can't see Goldsworthy getting picked up. I think the main thing holding him back is he would be a bit too slow to play as a midfielder or small forward in the AFL. This a bit of a shame for him because is a great kick, has footy smarts and is a pretty decent overhead mark for his size. I thought he started becoming a bit more consistent for us this year and I think if he has a big pre-season to improve his fitness base that he has the ability to become one of our main midfielders next season
