Well done Dogs, really gutsed it out .. Thought the experience of Chad O'Sullivan in the last quarter was telling.

Of course the Norwood supporters are Angels aren't they?

Remember booing the losing team off the ground at Norwood Oval earlier in the year? [-X Stones, Glass Houses!

Well done Pumpa and the boys. =D>

You’d think you would be enjoying winning the Grand Final the day after, not whining and complaining about the reserves result. Each to their own I guess. It must really hurt even in the Reserves to finish top and then choke in the big one.

yes, He did look good, some very encouraging signs there...but We cheated by playing Him in the reserves...even though He spent nearly all year there. The same as Pumpa, Nash, Nason, Hynes, Haydon etc etc.

Ignore Norwoodman. He's a fool. At least when Topsy trolls he's knowledgeable about the game.

I havent seen too much reserves footy but thought there is a reason its reserve grade, i thought the skills were very average but the effort and attack was very good. Dunne from Central flipping the bird when he dropped a chest mark shows why he is playing twos in my opinion, however then took a good mark against the flight to goal. Better team on the day won i thought. When they did their victory lap that Haynes (??) bloke was a massive unit. To big Phil i told u Nason would only play twos in a full strength side ;)

Pumpa was a gun, won every tap other than a few boundary throw ins which dropped short.

Thought the skills on display were awful in both the reserves and league, with a lot of "floaters" off the boot.

Not sure if that's to do with the wind, the footy, or all of the above.

Enjoyed the contest though. The closing stages with that massive foot race was great. Awesome drama.

That foot race was cracking. No goal but it as good as won the match.

Lawton's last goal to put us 14 (IIRC) up was a floater. God knows how that cleared the line.

I was right behind that kick. Went through like a blowfly. Haha.

Who was the player who almost pulled in that huge grab not long after the foot race? Massive high kick and he went hurtling back with the flight and nearly clunked it!

If that was the one in the goal square, it was Lawton. It was a great effort, threw himself at the contest and nearly pulled it down.

Especially when Bassett said mid-season that his Reserves side had a defence that was better than most league sides.

Long-haired fella in the goal square. I thought he was gonna die.

Yeah we stacked it Pumpa played from memory 2 league games and that was probably his fifth reserves game hes been out for most of the season with an injured knee Nason played 2 league games and has been playing reserves all year Chaddy O has played 2 league games rest of season has played reserves hello re the mark in the last qtr yeah saw that on live stream it looked like pumpa took the mark fantastic effort but not paid. YAH right Norwoodman 78 your reserves CHOKED our reserves were bottom most of the year due to injuries in the league thus the reserves boys had to step up and we squeezed into fifth spot a fantastic effort by the boy looks like the Doggy Dynasty still has a lot of life in it.

Yeah, Lawton hit a couple of packs hard yesterday. I was really impressed. A couple of those contests where he hit the pack hard and broke it up deep in the last quarter were critical.
Unlike another Doggies forward who I know frustrated you, Cennals ;)
