I reckon he was. Who do you think could have replaced him?

There could be a case for Roury Kirkby, Brad Fisher or Adam Grocke ahead of Johnston, perhaps?

The times i saw him play during the season he was very very good. I rate his season higher than any of the other three you have mentioned BP.

Johnston would be in my side.

The most CONSISTENT forward in the comp.

Kicked at least 3 goals in 12 of his 20 games this season.

I'm certainly not questioning Lewis' selection at all, I totally agree with it - and your comments on the others mentioned...

Just threw there names up for a discussion point. Perhaps the only player I would consider swapping out of that team would be Jace Bode at half back for either Daniel Caire or Ed Sansbury, who played State football this year.

Yes Fester - another typically poor programming decision by the SANFL!

Why not wait until after the GF so all the players can get on the gas or at least be there?
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Batsanis a glaring ommission. Jace Bode and Matt Suckling a bit unlucky too.
Looks like Chandler arranged the dinner.

Bode is in the team SDK, agree about Batsanis & Suckling though probably speaks more about the competion for a spot in the team if those two can't get in.

Ryan Ferguson IMO is lucky to be named because i reckon Adam Hartlett has had a far better year at CHB.

There were two teams in 2011 - West End State Team which "Wedgie" has a link for above, and the 2011 Advertiser TOY (Advertsier Oct 4, 2011) See the post that follows for that team

Caire should be in ahead of Bode. Not sure why Rudolph is picked on bench in that side, way too many tall defenders in the set up extra on bench should be another ruck man if they insist on 4 bench spots. Seems strange that they pick 4 on bench when all teams have to play with only 3 on bench all year.
