I must say I dont understand 2 year contracts, its either 1 year (provide a premiership) or 3 years (give time to develop towards a premiership). 2 years is a nothing term.

Why would Glenelg ever give a coach a 2 year deal? It just ends up costing them money when they sack them mid year.

Agree, cause of the above reasons I was not happy he only got 2 years, its a 3 year job.

I guess technically, he is retiring. Only has 1 year deals at a time so I would say it is more that he is not renewing his services as coach next year, if in fact what 5AA said was true...

To be fair, I doubt he would have continued if the Dogs won the flag by 20 goals this year ... time to do other things it seems

Thank god. Pack your cr@p game style and begone. The Westies marketing department must be rejoicing with the thought that a possible new coach might hopefully, hopefully bring a desire to kick a goal and make the game attractive to supporters and sponsors

Norwood, North, Sturt, South and Port all sacked their previous coach, so the Bays aren't Robinson Crusoe ...

Did we sack Timmy G or just not reappoint him?

If they leave it's all about returning home not because of coach, Fuller has 2 years remaining of his contract and this will be honoured, end of story.

Lyons and the rest left last year due to fuller
