The way West played today I wouldn't be surprised West were shite.

ok, ive written and then thought better and deleted so many posts, ill try to post a sensible one.

great win North. i wasnt confident this morning. i know we have some great recent form, but i wasnt going to write the dogs off in the finals, ive seen to many finals in the last decade and a bit to write them off till the final siren. ive also seen north lose so many times in the last couple of years when i thought they shouldnt have.

i think the kiss of death next week may be if we go in as favourites. from seeing west today i certainly think north should be. but who knows.

i hope all of the north players came through unscathed, despite certain centrals players seeming to be more interested in going the body not the ball (which obviously didnt work), and are right to go next week. it will be interesting to see how we play in the later timeslot

get up em you COCKS!!

Firstly, to the mighty Central District Football Club: Thank you for an amazing and unparalleled 12 seasons of Grand Final football.

To North Adelaide, well done on playing superb football today. You thoroughly deserved to smash us the way you did and, if the weather stays dry, are every chance of blowing West Adelaide and Norwood away and holding that premiership cup aloft.

For the sake of South Australian football, I sure hope North do. If I want to see football played the way Norwood and West do (which I sure don't) I would be better off watching Brighton play Old Collegians in 15 a side.

Cheers

Centrals have been brilliant. For a long time. For a long, long time.

... but it appears to be over. It's not a bad thing, most clubs have had great eras and eventually they end.

Much golf clapping to them.

However, I think what I found most enjoyable about todays win by North Adelaide... is seeing how many Central supporters had it in for Sturt on here when the pay outs came, just shows how much that 2002 GF still hurts!!! :-)

There's no doubt we were the worst team in the league this year, premiership table shows that to be true, but likewise Central were a finals embarrassment this year, taking that mantle clearly away from what is usually Glenelg's by birth right.

Cheers North... and cheers to West... who started off this beautiful fortnight!

Well well well what can i say its been a couple of tough years for the mighty doggies but what a brilliant style of fast gut running football by the Cocks whilst in full flight if you are allowed to play this type of football against a lack lustre Norwood or West as witnessed today you will be holding that Premiership Cup aloft in two weeks time once again congratulations and well done also a special mention to Umpy Avalon what a fantastic performance in the second quarter well done.

Yeah but they started it all off...

I fancy you guys to make the GF though... I reckon North is a real chance to bring on a nightmare finish for Norwood.

I posted last week questioning whether Roy and the club would have the balls to make the hard call and drop 1 or both the Gowan's, I thought the club is way bigger than the individual so I was very surprised to see them gifted a farewell tour. Centrals have guys in the Ressies who would be walk up starters in most league sides, O'Sullivan is a fantastic player and deserved a spot in the league side along with others. Obviously the call was too hard to make for the club
