Magarey Medal "Leak"

Can not see how it could happen. Who would open the votes apart from the SANFL management and then again why would they, for what reason ?

In the past there has been 2 players who tied for the Magarey medal (eg 2002) and there just happens to be 2 medals on hand to give to each recipient.

They always have up to at least 4 (possibly five) medals on hand in case of multiple winners. Same with the brownlow(eg: 2003) and Sandover.
