Gee you guys are being a bit harsh  I've heard he's highly regarded at Oval Ave and was very helpful in us gaining lots of financial assistance for the club renovation currently under construction. Good bloke just for that in our book!

Rabble? From a souf supporter, really?
Off field there is strength, stability and viability. This is thanks to a strong president & board, not DC.
As for on field performances - winning or losing, his influence would have been minimal.
We'll keep trying for "better prospects" I guess.....

Off the field you will record a loss this year .... First time in many years. Admittedly your president does put a few bucks across the bar to try to rectify this, but not sure what else he does :partyman: :partyman:

Leggies we have good little bar under the Baulderstone/Southern grandstand.
We just dont have clubrooms .... yet !
Pokie income ? On field success ? Or a debt burdened facility we use 10 times ayear ????? The choice is easy.
The days of the Redlegs Club are gone in this comp for us or any club. Generate income and live within your means.

SACA and AAMI Stadium members to pay for privilege of going on Oval wait list

CRICKET and football members will be charged $75 to apply for an exclusive Adelaide Oval Ultimate package they may never receive.

And long-term SACA and AAMI Stadium members will be rewarded for "loyalty" with the granting of priority access to the 12,100 Ultimate memberships that will include entry to all AFL and cricket matches at Adelaide Oval from 2014.

The Stadium Management Authority yesterday announced a registration period from November 14-27 for the packages, expected to cost around $1000.

Members must pay a $75, non-refundable application fee to secure the chance to buy Ultimate packages, which are expected to be oversubscribed, with 6100 available to SACA and 6100 for football members.

The 6500 Premier SANFL, 2000 Essential Power, 6000 Essential Crows and all SACA members will be eligible for an Ultimate package on a "first come, first served" basis at the conclusion of the registration period.

Those unsuccessful in obtaining an Ultimate package in the registration period will join other standard Crows and Port members on any waiting list.

Newly appointed SMA commercial manager Darren Chandler defended the "one-off" $75 fee - which could deliver a big cash injection to the SMA - as an administrative requirement.

"We were looking for a firm commitment from those who were serious about taking up the membership," said Mr Chandler.

"There were a number of costs from staff to membership systems. We have been open about it."

Young SACA members were wooed to support the Adelaide Oval redevelopment vote in May last year but could struggle to get Ultimate packages.

"A portion of Ultimate memberships will be allocated first priority to Honorary and 50+ SACA members and AAMI Stadium Foundation members. Then the priority will go to Premier members, Essential Crows and Power," said Mr Chandler.

"We are anticipating there will be significant demand, it's an exciting product and time."

Mr Chandler said further information and pricing details would be announced on October 31 while letters concerning the Ultimate package and Adelaide Oval should reach all members today.
