I would have thought the Crows would be looking closely at Joel Tippett as an understudy for Rutten as well as part of a package deal with his brother. He has been a revelation at Westies this year with his height and long left foot kick.

My understanding is Batsanis was told by Carlton to go to Norwood and spend a year under Bassett and if all went well he would be drafted in 2013.
