True, the Elimination Final this year should be called the Bradbury Cup.

Well done to the WWT players for clapping off Jade Sheedy after the game, good sportsmanship and earnt my respect for showing theirs. :ymapplause:

Also some of the eagles players came into the club and had a drink.

An interesting game right to the end but really showed why both are so low this year. Both teams midfields just decided at different times to go to sleep and let the other put up runs of goals. We have seen the Eagles all year lack 4 qtr. effort in the midfield apart from Parry, so Sturt must also struggle there. At least the battle for 5th is still on, just!

I was attacked by a Sturt fan on North Tce after the game and hurt my back, not sure if the guy is a member.

Interesting stats. Killed in the clearances. 20 of those would have been Riley.

Well done to those who rocked up to celebrate Sheedy's 250. Shame on those Sturt supporters (and there's plenty of them) who chose to sit at home instead.

Aidan Riley did have the most clearances for Sturt but only 5 and then there was Greenslade, A.Thompson and B.Kane who all had 4.

The best for the Eagles was Powell with 11, Cicolella 8 and Rowntree 5

I thought the best players for the Eagles were Powell, Lewis, Cicolella, Parry, Rowntree and Raymond.

Very interesting sort of game when up until 3 qtr time 16 of the 20 goals kicked were at the southern end but then Sturt only kicked 2 of the 5 kicked in the last.

It's very obvious that if you kick only 3 goals in a half of footy your going to struggle to win the game and that's what happened to the Blue boys today. I don't know what Micky G said to the boys at half time but they responded with a brilliant 2nd half after a very ordinary and lacklustre effort in the 2nd qtr.

If we could have kicked accurately in the last we could have won by around 7 goals and not the 15 point margin we got.

Having said that we walked away from Unley with the 2 points and kept our very faint finals hopes alive and for the moment have condemned Sturt to the bottom rung of the premiership ladder.

I'm thinking it's more of a police matter. Not much Sturt or the SANFL can do if it happened on North Tce.

Agreed however, after the fact, I think the SANFL may be of more use. ;)

All depends if any CCTV picked it up and along North Tce it is highly likely something may have been captured.
