Let them back into the game in the last qtr though.

Nonsense. At what stage did anyone think West were a chance to win in the last quarter? Even West players stopped celebrating goals much earlier. All they did was kick a few meaningless goals when the game was shot...

How did they kick those meaningless goals if CDFC didn't let them back into the game?
Qtr x Qtr scores suggest we did; CD 6.2-WA 1.2, 3.3-1.3, 4.2-2.1, 1.2-4.2.
In the last qtr they kicked the same amount of goals they had from the previous 3 qtr's.

Disappointing Bloods i expected a game with only a coupla kicks in it but the game was done and dusted at quarter time Lawton has some potential a very good debut by the young fella.

What a joke. Westies are the KINGS of indirect football. PISS WEAK. Imagine playing Centrals in a final, what a joke.

FWIW, I actually think that West are a much better side this year, they deserve to play in the finals.

West haven't won at Elizabeth since 1999. Does anyone know what the record is for years without a win at a particular oval?

Marschall another fine performance his on track to a top 3 finish at the B&F at present JET!!!!

Lawton looked the goods, his very first attack while he gave away a free kick for too high it was great to see the pressure and agression, if he can bring that work rate each week he will do just fine at league level.

I wonder if The Crows will give Symes ANOTHER chance, His form has been very good this year. (although His disposal can be rather ordinary)

Marschall has been ery good indeed, has composure with the footy and his foot skills are sublime. I know there are a few AFL scouts keeping a very close eye on Paul.

James Lawton did well on debut, created a contest and has a good set of hands. Needs to keep his feet more and get a bigger engine but showed some promise, for sure.

Ryan Williams continues to be a concern....indecision and poor disposal, but Roy continues to show faith.
