Agreed. I was surprised not to see Tony Archer not involved in the game last night, I would of thought he's an automatic selection for one of the two referee postions in a State of Origin game.

Bill Harrigan who is the refs coach has reviewed the match and declared that the try was correctly rewarded.
No suprise there when the refs coach was a shocker himself back in the day

The best part of Origin is that the Broncos usually are crap in that period. Was great watching them get thrashed tonight, enjoy that banana benders :D

I watched South Sydney beat Canbarra on Friday night on GEM, backing up for South after playing for Queensland on Wednesday night, Dave Taylor and Greg Inglis killed it.

Yes they are but the Broncos always struggle around origin time so it wasnt a great time to meet the Storm

The Broncos havent struggled as badly in recent years as they used to, less of a broncos influence in the Origin side. Think Friday there were only 3 players missing from the regular line up. Definately was the worst time to meet the storm though. Slater, Cronk, Smith arguably the best combination in the world at the minute..
