The Titanic kids slides were subliMinAL
The Titanics biggest parts were aptly colored black and yellow

CD skills were exceptional, it seemed the only mistakes they made were bouncing the ball that skidded instead of bouncing back
It was an almost flawless display by the doggies

GL skills were OK as well
But their defensive skills and tackling were missing

CD got the ball more often, and that was the difference

The thing that puzzles me is the light towers are 40-50m back from the fence which makes it even harder for them to be effective.

FWIW, about 25m on average. 27m each at the northern corners, and 18m (SE) and 30m (SW).

We usually camp adjacent the NE flank, furthest part of the ground for us (SW pocket) is 175 metres away.

I don't have any issues with the lights, maybe that's just me.

Mick MALthouse wanted to coach CD in 1984, but Cowboy Neale got the job

Elizabeth Oval, scoreboard side of the ground
Couldnt find seating by the boundary fences
How long has this been the case ?

After NW oval, I find Elizabeth Oval to be my 2nd fav ground to visit
But one thing stood out last night
Watched the game on the scoreboard wing
Wanted to have a BBQ dinner
Had to walk anti clockwise to the Grandstand forward pocket for my meal
There was a line up of about 25 people , minutes b4 the game started
Yet hardly a person waiting, as I passed, at the various Canteens and Hot Dog stands to be served
The 2 workers in the Hot Dog stand were waiting for people to roll up
Is it time for a BBQ stand in the outer section ?

Week in week out, the BBQ stands at most grounds are far more popular than the canteens
At Prospect Oval the line ups at the BBQ stand far exceed the Canteen on the Grandstand side
At Prospect Oval, the average wait is about 10-15 minutes to get a BBQ meal [and worth it]

I know this is something that has been discussed with the marketing committee in the past, mal...

In the Round 2 night game against Norwood, there was an extra BBQ set up down behind the northern end goals...

Did I imagine it last night when a Centrals player was paid a mark after receiving a handball?
