Unfortunately, I can't see how the dogs will turn around the 15 goal loss to port in the trial game. Port looked untouchable in that game. The loss of harder and maybe thurgood will impact. The dogs will probably have to rove to micklejohn. Depends how switched on we are. I hope you're right dog_ger. I wonder what the odds are?

I didn't realise trial games set the handicaps for the season ... do Central start on -15 goals or do Port start with 15?

For his tatts?

Or maybe his hair. Coming 2nd in the league to Jason Davenport for worst hair, according to my daughter. Maybe she hasn't seen Scott Lewis yet.

I saw Davenport's and Lewis' first hand on sat...... Davenport's is by far the most wrong

Centrals to romp it in.

I expect Port to hit back hard this week after the result against Norwood.

Might see Mercer back in the league for Wilson who is sorely out of touch or struggling to adjust to the SANFL standard. Surprising considering his excellent pre-season form. Also looking at McKenzie to lift in the contested ball situations and do a little more.
Cockshell was held to almost nothing last weekend and appeared to lack the confidence to jump* at the ball. Is he carrying something? ( No jokes about what he is carrying, please )

Port in a close one with a smallish crowd.

Port by 13 in front of about 2800-3000.

I would be surprised if Port didnt play all their talls and really test Centrals big men at both ends. At very least playing the extra tall may mean Hardy has to play in defence which takes alot away from the Dogs forward set up. Weather may not be kind to the big men though but if you can find a big forward that can take 5 marks in the wet then your probably going to kick a winning score.

A post on one of the AFL threads is suggesting Crows have dropped Johncock for this week.
