Bays had 21 good players that worked together and really seem to be playing for each other.

Where was Parry.and Bock? Without them I thought Grieger was pretty impressive in ruck.

With great weather, Premiership Flag raising and the dirty mouth runner playing his 250th I expected a big crowd but was disappointed as it was pretty poor at 2,300 odd.

What does it take to get Eagles fans to a game? Grandstand side south of the stand was dominated by Bay Fans.

3-0 is a good start but only sets up a season, it doesn't make a season. There is a much better feel to things this season and here's hoping that passion continues to bring wins.

Excellent point, lots to like about how we played yesterday but their were also plenty of times you thought hmmm we need to get that out of ame if we want to play finals.

Still we are in a much better position than what I thought we could be after three rounds. At the start of the year it wasn't beyond the realms of possibility that we could be 0-3 after three games.

You Bays !! 8)

Bubbles (Trembath) & Hitchy (Hitchcock) both kicked 3 for the Bays

Hall, Knights & Staple kicked 2 for the Hybrids.

A very even performance again from the Bays, the defence stood up well, and our on ballers went well. A couple of young blokes for Glenelg held their heads up high in Agnew & Bradley.

For the Eagles, no idea, as I couldn't give a rats about 'em....

Nah not today, we tried singing Little Peter Rabbit but too many in Yellow, Blue & Green joined in so we had to stop;

Powder puffs and curly whiskers,
And he flipped it and he flapped it and the fly flew away.

And to think you stopped shaving your legs to reply to my post  at least you admit to singing nursery rhymes at the footy, most Pussycat fans baulk at that one, but heh it's a free country most of the time!

Might wanna change the tag to Camira78 the way your LPR's are playing ;)

Early days, and both WWT and Centrals fans needn't panic just yet

The old April premiers have been out in force lately and surprisingly from repeat offenders!

Just a comment on injuries. Much has been reported on the outs the Eagles had, but the Bays didn't have a full squad either, and lost Button and Davenport in the last quarter so were down to one on the bench.

The Bays don't have any suspensions either.

Not that results mean much, but when your reserves lose by 20 goals then there seems to be reasonable query on depth too.

The Eagles can recover, but if Port win today they'll effectively be 3 games out of the 5 after round 4.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

We'll definately play September football, rounds 23 and 24 to be exact....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Yeah well considering most had Glenelg finishing at the lower end of the ladder we have good reason to gloat at 3-0 in April. And gloat we will. :D

Jai Bendall's reporting on yesterday's game in the Sunday Mail is a joke. How does his editor let him get away with this crap - "Shaw took over at half-back and Kirkby started taking marks and milking frees." I take it Jai isn't a big fan of Glenelg?
