None injured, I don't think, not from what I could tell, anyway...

Justin Cicolella and Chris Kane missed through suspension, Jimmy Toumpas is in Europe with the AIS and that is about it I think...

Cheers . I wasn't sure but they'll get better . I didn't think they were the best side last year but ended up winning it.

See my post, must be something in it if ABC are reporting it
Wasn't happy about being dropped to the Reserves and apparently cleared his locker straight after being told. So i was told anyway. ;)
Probably a good thing - I'm not sure his form since his return has warranted a spot in the Reserves either.

So Eagleton is no chance for the Magarey this year then?
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Eagles totally and completely outclassed. Not one position winner. Parry in ruck perhaps.
Too slow, cant hit a target by foot or hand and cant hold marks. Whats going on????
An embarrassing pathetic effort. Can we blame the premiership blues. If so better get over that real quick or it will be a long year of disappointment

I thought Philip Raymond was the Eagles best player and never stopped trying all day. Parry won a few hitouts but most of them were not to advantage and the Redlegs midfield just dominated all day, as did the rest of the side...

Hey BP what did you think of Renoufs game?
Thought he was ok but not outstanding. After Port's debacle in the Rucks today Id think he may get a call up

Hey Jim, I thought he started off slowly and got better as the game went on. To be honest, I though Gus Clarke was your better ruckman on the day but Renouf did get into the game more as the day progressed...

Kicked that nice long goal in front of the scoreboard and had his fellow Power team mate Simon Phillips hand him one in the goal square. Finished with the 9 disposals and 15 hitouts to go with his 2 goals and I would suspect the Power may want him to have another run in the SANFL as he has had a very limited pre-season...

So Central with half their side out with injury a 20 pt loss to Norwood wasn't that bad after all.

I really hope there's some decent vision, or a decent photo or three, of Phillips' mark in the last quarter on the grandstand wing. He must have come down with a dose of altitude sickness.

The moment
Late in the Last Quarter

5-5 WWT
5-0 Simon Phillips [not sure of the points tally]

WWT led and appeared to be holding off Phillips
Phillips had about the last shot of the game
A goal and Phillips wins the match
But
His shot for goal was off line and went thru for a point

5-5 WWT
5-1 Simon Phillips
WWT hang on for victory
