Sturt have started of the year extremly well would the only concern be the availability of AFL listed players come finals. We know how much players being pulled from finals has increased in recent years by AFL clubs. Could this leave Sturt with a big whole to fill who are on average using 6-7 AFL listed players in their league side.

That's a fair point and something for the club to keep in mind if we do make the finals. However I think that most of our players (McIntyre, Martin and to a lesser degree Jaensch) will play most of the year with Sturt and come finals will be jumping out of their skin to play. Jenkins, Tambling, and Riley (he's played so much footy for us you could almost call him a Sturt player) will also spend most of the season with us and I'm sure all will be keen to keep playing for Sturt. I guess it depends largely on Sandersons philosophy, if Adelaide are playing finals and injury. I can't see Sando being the type to hold fringe players back from SANFL finals just for the sake of it. I'd think that he'd want to see them proving themselves.
