Half their side has walked and Glenelg ($13) are still ahead of Port Adelaide ($16)?

Happy to see people continue to underrate the Magpies, who lost a bunch of games by 1-2 Goals last season, have recruited well and the home-grown talent are now getting significant games under their collective belts.

$3 definitely too short for Nwd. $8 a bit too short for Glnlg. $12 pretty optimistic for Sturt, too. $5 too long for both Centrals and Eagles, simply because they're Centrals and Eagles and a lot of people have lost a lot of money over the last decade betting, 'this year their time is up; surely the dynasty has to be over now'.

The market is 'who will win the flag in October?', not 'who will be top after round 6?' And, even though my post a few back is looking increasingly embarrassing (please, please don't let Port Adelaide be a realistic chance to win the flag), $51 for North (and saying that they're 3 times less likely to win the flag than the 2nd-worst team in the comp) is overkill. Surely people's memories aren't so short that they've forgotten that Nwd started 2010 0-4 (including at least a couple of really lame performances) and came back to make the GF (and nearly pinch it).

Amazing how huge structural problems that are going to take years of redevelopment and heaps of off-season recruiting to fix, suddenly aren't any of those things when you win a few and the group's confidence is up.

North deserve the bottom ranking in betting / predictions etc. as they are the worst team in the comp at present!

Too short. There is sadly very little to like about North right now.

What's sad about that?

They still must have faith in the Eagles.
Drifted out to $15 but still 5th favourite.
Glenelg have come in to $6 and 3rd favourite.
North at $41 are last

at $41 and last, reckon north are worth a $2 punt! West and Port at $16 and North at $41 is interesting. Still reckon Bays will drop back in the pack in a few weeks and Central will continue to improve as always!

I think that's fair enough actually. They're still a chance to make the 5 and if they do I'd suggest they'd be one of the more dangerous sides to finish 5th. I know if I finished 4th and it came down to West or WWT to finish 5th who I'd be praying for....
