Think it already is.

Has definitely been a slight shift towards drafting guys with late picks that will be able to play instead of guys who they hope can play at the AFL level but at SANFL level they have to wan't to do the work.

Apparently this book was a hot topic in the lead up to the 2006 AFL draft.

Bloody hard book to put down. Should be doing some footy club work but it may have to wait until tomorrow.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Sydney Swans have been using the recruiting philosophy for a few years now, with great success.

Who'd have thought recruiting players who could play the game would work out so well.

Yet clubs continue to pick duds. Paul Roos is right. Draft age is too young.

Sydney can stick to Sydney's philosophy, I'm not too discouraged by Geelong's methodology.

I don't think North are allowed selections in the National AFL draft.
Even if they were we'd probably choose a good Dolphin Treasure machine as our No 1 pick.
