I think LEH has been pretty good, considering.
I'm no regular fan of his work either...

WWT 24-24 (48)

1st 21 years of the WWT Eagles - 17 finals series, 48 finals (24-24), 8 Grand Finals, 3 Premierships

last 21 years of Woodville (1970-90) - 3 finals series, 5 finals (2-3), 0 Grand Finals, 0 Premierships
last 21 years of West Torrens (1970-90) - 3 finals series, 3 finals (0-3), 0 Grand Finals, 0 Premierships

Say what you like re off field support but on the field this has to be one of the most successful mergers in South Australian sport .... well at least since the unoffcial merger between the Medindie Dingoes and North Adelaide in 1893 (please note due humble homage being paid to NAFC) ;)

Out of those 7 years LEH, how many years have you gone missing when the Eagles are losing? Or you start some stupid campaign?

You must recognise North Adelaide at least once as being a great club when ever discussing WWTFC premiership wins ;)

I agree for goodness sake. That is exactly what I am saying. North are shit and WWTFC are amazing. How better can I put it?
But be humble about it because that hurts us even more :)

Of course it was going to be successful. A lot of people thought the Eagles would be strong and i know a lot of people who didnt want the merger to go ahead for this reason.

Pretty good off the field too I reckon, regardless of supporter numbers. WWT appears to go out of its way to pay homage to the history of both W and WT. I s'pose this is necessary in order to placate the old fans, but in effect WWT is paying far better service to its roots than any of the other 8 clubs.

If my mob was ever to bite the bullet and merge (and note that I am pitching an extreme hypothetical here) then I hope that they'd use the W & WT merger as a model.
