Any further news on these 2 ladz. heard that country clubs in the mix have backed down of any deals seems the asking price of close to $1000 a game is ok but very few clubs can get both because they attract a total of 8 poiunts which very few have to spare. as separate options they are a good deal. would they ever split up? seems they might need to if they are to play county footy

Plenty could afford that, one 36yo, ex full forward is on 1.5k a game.

Playing for a Vic Country Club though if it is "our old mate" and we know the Vic's apply different rules when it comes to salary caps and points etc!

If you may be offered any deal better than the one you have signed, you are free to move at your own expence.

I'd have thought the only club they'd have said yes to at this stage is Centrals. If they're pulling the pin on SANFL though, can't imagine they've signed or agreed to anything as yet.

i rekon they could still hold a spot in the team as forward line front a centre type would cause headache for opposition team, then pinch hit in the midfield for a 5 minute burst once a quarter!

Chris did alright coming fifth in the best and fairest. James, was in the top players regularly (when he could take the field), and he wasn't our only player that missed games this year, regardless of age.
