Looks like you need one, preferably two of the big four to be guaranteed a decent crowd. When you get two you can get a crowd of 13 K plus.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Did his groin, went off before half time, may play in GF if we get there but very doubtful

Heard Bassett say a reserves GF is probably best case scenario for Jericho.

As for the matchup with Shenton, I think Laird showed he's not a typical big marking forward, he's more a running/leading player. You can sacrifice some aerial strength on him for a quicker defender who can stick with him and provide some run. Make him work the other way and take the edge off him. McKenzie would be the worst matchup for him IMHO.Shenton would go to the goalsquare and would get him on the burst all day keeping McKenzie from setting up the play.

I think Norwood will win by a few goals. They finished second and the Eagles third for a reason. Injuries and all, I think Norwood are the better team.

We've gotta get the game plan right to have any chance of winning this weekend. Norwood do not like kicking to contests until inside their forward 50. It is no coincidence that the last two teams to beat them, Centrals and South (albeit against a weaker Norwood team) play man-on-man.

We won't and can't play as badly as the qualifying final, but we'll have to wait until Sunday to see whether the improvement will be good enough.

Got injured, making his comeback from the shoulder operation, whilst playing in the Reserves 2nd Semi Final.

It was a black weekend for injuries last weekend, losing 4 key players in one weekend, 2 weeks into finals. Jericho on Saturday (plus Evans and Dalwood had a clash of heads in the reserves and spent much of the game on the bench as well), then the serious injuries to Young, Campbell and Hughes on Sunday.

Dalwood and Evans are fine, few stiches each but will be fine.
Would think Davis for young and Donahue/Grigg for Campbell and hughes.

Which personally are 3 good ins! As IMO young and Hughes were lucky to be in the 1's. Rocket obviously the big out. But Grigg was very good in the Ressies last week

I thought Young was close to BOG against the Eagles and was by far Norwoods best on Saturday until injured. He should have been in the 1's all year.

Agree, Young was going all right on Sunday, but they would be 3 good ins for Norwood.

Was Rowntree injured or dropped on Sunday?
