You ripper, a double header for Norwood again, was fearing i might have to go to a couple of grounds.

Are there many Glenelg players that played league on the weekend that can drop back to the reserves this week?

Are there any qualification rules about minimum games etc?

Hender, Shaw & C. Kane all played a few ressies games.

I think the rule used to be if you played more reserves than league games you qualified, or if you played 3 out of the last five at reserves level. That could have changed.

I understand the rule to be that if you played League in the last League game, you cant drop back. Club can ask for permission from SANFL, but don't like our chances.
Happened to young Loccy McGregor a couple of years back. He played Reserves all year except for the 1 League losing final, and couldn't get permission from SANFL. He missed out playing in our Reserves Premiership.

Hender cant play U18s as he played more than 10 minor round games in the reserves/league side. Dont think he can play reserve finals either as he played the last 3 minor round games in the league side.

Lachie Neale is a different story, i think he is able to play U18s this week. Can someone confirm.

The rules were changed for this year to make it easier for under 18 players to qualify to play in Under 18 finals. They can now drop down even after playing in a losing final at league or reserves as long as they played one U18 game during the year and less than ten games in higher grade. If they are eligible to play in lower grade then they can be picked in higher grade if both sides are in, so should also be able to play reserves.
