Be a very hard match next week against Eagles

Nah ..... We just were a better team than you and played better. Bit of respect please ;)

Full credit to South much better than us today, no disputing that.
Just wouldnt have rested 7 guys if the result was crucial to us. How South played today the result could have been the same even with our full side.
Very impressive and will gove the Bays a run next week

Only 2 negatives for me and they were the disgraceful report of Bryce Campbell and the performance of Terlich.
Deano had a shocker again this week and would seriously have to be close to a spell in the ressies

Funny game meant nothing now that they lost.

Go back to pre game thread and all the Norwood supporters were saying how they had to bounce back, earn a spot for finals etc etc

Funny how the result will change peoples opinions on what the game meant.

Why would Norwood be happy to eliminate Port from finals? We haven't beaten you for ages, whereas South have... several times.

Winning form is good form... losing form is not.

Enjoy the re-match with South in a fortnight.

They will pump them by 10 goals. The Bays are a rabble and will take out the spoon in 2012.

Port have pushed us a couple of times of this year and could have beaten us twice.
We have destroyed South twice this year, not sure when these "several times" are, i can only remember 1 loss in last 10 against them before today :?

So basically you admit your team tanked today?

Disgraceful.

We didnt tank otherwise we would have rested a lot more.
Had some guys with niggly injuries that needed to have a week off and our foucus is on next week.
As ive also stated South played well today and possibly would have beaten us at full strength.
Maybe you guys should stop relying on other results and get the job done yourself

Maybe. We did lose to South twice afterall.

I'm dirty though because I can't believe the Bays finished 4th.

The critical one for me was you guys giving up your only home game against us for the year, we snuck over the line at AAMI but reckon we would have definately lost at Alberton.

Me either. 8)

Though they did have an advantage, insofar as they weren't distracted by minor trophies like Foxtel Cups.

Everyone has beaten Port at Alberton this year, what makes you think Nwd would not have won there as well.

Because we were crap at start of year and Port usually plays well against us down there. Just an opinion but I reckon we would have lost there

What a great result :D Pleasing that we kept our nerve late and finished off strongly.

Cross and Liddle again very good in the middle. Loved the game of young Brooksby. I've been critical of him this season, but Horne had one of his better games. Thewlis the glue down back yet again. The only downer was the leg injury to Veide.

Hopefully we haven't just played our "grand final" and aren't satisfied in just being there. I was just 9 the last time South played a final at Footy Park, so this will be a bit of a first for me.

Well done Ronnie :prayer:

Not sure what to make of Nwd. Although it was a dead rubber, they would have some concerns going into next week. Eagleton named 3rd best by the Advertiser?

Not high stats but highest number of tackles on the ground for both sides and at least looked interested unlike the majority of our side today. I probably would have put him in my best because he was at least prepared to have a crack and he was better than about 14 of our players today. South had the top 3 players on the ground today IMO

Jim05,

Do you think Norwood layed down a bit today

Or do you think South outplayed you for the whole game
