You support your team through thick and thin and this makes the good times all the more enjoyable (not that i have seen to many crows bad times).

Correction. Traditional and loyal football supporters follow their football club thru thick and thin.

Unfortunately the crows fans are neither traditional or loyal.

Whilst PAFC has always had the biggest number of frontrunner supporters in the SANFL IMHO. Looks as if nothing appears to have changed in the AFL.

As for Caro she should not be on TV and I refuse to watch the horse head

To read that I had to laugh....imagine being a South supporter like me????

Least I stick with them (renew membership year after year/ go to games) through thick and thin........absolutely pathetic mate!!!

Spineless stuff that!!!

Hutchy is a human gutterfeeding headline and will always be one.

But what Caro says does make some sense if you take your South Aussie Blinkers off. Port are on the nose. No supporters no cash and everybody hates them.

Lets be real about this they play unattractive football for quite a few years now and the Crows are not far behind.

The wheel turns every few years. The Vics & the West had their pain and now it is SA's turn. No doubt they will comme out of it but for us who follow other clubs we are enjoying it fully!!!!!

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Meh.

When they start winning again, they will jump back on the bandwagon.

Yep, and people like t07andbeyond should be told to piss off and come back when they're willing to stick it out with the rest of us during the tough times.

I wouldn't take what t07andbeyond says seriously, clearly he/she posts on here to get a reaction. I seriously doubt he/she follows any of the 3 clubs listed on his/her profile.

nothing against the die hards like yourself. But Ive always thought a certain percentage of port fans were attracted to port due to it's phenominal success. It's only natural .

I think questions on how many port supporters would rock up to games if port were struggling in the afl. Has been asked since port joined the league. Not that port is the only club to have membership increases due to onfield success.

I fail to see how i am not a traditional or loyal crows fan. I am young enough to say that the crows were the first team that i ever truly supported, a good year or two before i even knew who sturt were. My earliest crows memory is of the 93 finals series, especially that prelim. I have been ecstatic after two premierships and devastated after numerous final exits. what else does one need to be able to do to classify themsleves as a traditional supporter.

Agree Cripple I have been an AFC member for 14 years now and have only ever supported AFC.... I will support them through thick and thin. Unfortunately we have an outspoken MINORITY ie TO7 who give us a bad name!

What do we gain by sacking a coach 3/4 through a season? Who replaces him?

We are far from becoming a laughing stock. We while performances havent been great/consistent, we arent being demolished every signle week and arent turning over massive financial losses off the field(last year being our first ever deficit, but we did get a new tarining facility) . The young players on our 'most exciting list ever' are showing glimpses of what they can do, few key injuries havent helped the inexpereinced list either. I am just as frustrated as you at the way we have lost a few games this year but dont let anger cloud your judgement and sense of perspective of where the side/list is at.

If we live by the sword and as a result loose supporters like you we will be better off

Tend to agree there is not alot to be gained by sacking the coach at this point of the season especially if management think the next coach is not currently in the coaches box already.

On the playing list, its full of spuds and will not be the next premiership group of players at the AFC. There list management has been extremly bad and tough calls werent made when they were needed hence 5-6 blokes over the age of 30 on the list at the same time last year.

I live in Swan Hill, 350 kms from melbourne. I have a victorian membership. I have made the 700km round trip 6 times this year. This is on top of the 2 games i will see in adelaide throughout the year, plus the pre-season game i saw us play against carlton at princes park when i happened to be in melbourne for work. Any other requirements for your traditional fan in a national comp played in Australia.

Serious question,

How much does it cost you a year in flights and accomodation to travel interstate every second week.

pm me if you dont want to disclose a figure in public.
