Dont think Donohue has done enough for a call up. Wouldnt mind if Bass played a couple of u18's either. Very impressed with Nicholas Dinham and jeez Savage is a real goer. Dont think we have anyone returning from injury yet, Hughes only slight chance

Dont think it's the weather or opponent to bring any of the babies in yet mate (granted I havent seen them) .. Would think the inclusions would come from Langford, Young or Doyle and whilst I think they'll probably opt for the latter (which wouldn't upset me), with Clarke's likely absence from the 2's it probably presents a real chance for Doyle to spend some serious time on the ball to get more contested k's into his legs, continue his form and get the added confidence of surviving 3 hard and heavy hitouts.

After all of that, I think we'll go Doyle and Young in.

Go the 'Legs.

But be careful, the Eags are just about due, especially at home.

Yeah JK reckon Young is a certainty. Doyle would be an interesting choice, i probably lean towards Langford if they are going for a straight swap for a forward.
Bryces hammy worse than first thought will miss at least 2 more but probably miss 3 and then we have the bye.

This Sunday (July 17), the Woodville-West Torrens Football Club will be holding our annual Eagles Community Day as we host Norwood at Unleash Solar Oval @ Woodville.

All football fans are encouraged to come to the game a little earlier to check out the community based activities

A record thirteen diverse groups will participate in the event with interactive displays promoting and celebrating their role in the local community.

Kids are further invited to participate in the “Community Treasure Hunt” which includes a tresure map of tasks to complete, free face painting and at the end of their journey, free Eagles "treasure".

It promises to be an action packed afternoon of SANFL football with Unleash Solar Oval @ Woodville hosting the undisputed match or the round as the 3rd ranked Eagles host the 2nd placed Redlegs.

Last year’s inaugural Eagles Community Day proved a great success with the City of Charles Sturt recognizing the event as the COMMUNITY EVENT OF THE YEAR at it’s 2011 Australia Day awards.

Participating Community Groups with a Display in 2011 include:

- Adelaide Sea Dragons (Dragon Boat Racing)

- Centacare

- City Of Charles Sturt (OPAL program)

- Hutt Street Centre

- Garville Netball Club

- Girl Guides (North West Metro District)

- Greyhound Adoption Program

- Meals on Wheels (Woodville)

- The Parks Sports Fitness & Aquatics

- Woodville Bowls Club

- Woodville District Cricket Club

- Woodville Senators Baseball Club

- Woodville Warriors Basketball Club

This Sunday, Reserves commence at 11.25am, with Community Displays / Treasure Hunt opening at 12.30pm and the League match commencing at 2.10pm.

I'd be surprised if Luke Brown didn't come straight back in, he has enough runs on the board this season to have his spot back, probably at the expense of Allan.

My thoughts are

Out: Walker, Jericho
In: Brown, Young

No need to make any further changes unless they also want Aish in.

Not sure of Aish and Doyles fitness yet, as long as the club in confident they can hold up i would have them in also.

Cheers

Could Flip be a late inclusion. Was only meant to miss last week but not sure if Port would risk taking him to Darwin.

I know you would have just copied it from the Norwood website JAS, but I noticed 2 x Pfieffer's listed in your side?

Will be a long day for Darren if he has to man up on 2 players !!!

Well spotted BP, would suggest because he is not named anywhere else that Brown comes
straight back into the side from the under 18's comp

Could be wrong mind you, we might have picked up Pfiefer's younger brother

Chris Knights also cleared of injury by the Crows and named on a wing for the Eagles.

That whiff of an upset is smelling stronger and stronger now ;)

Probably a misprint on the Club's part...bit difficult to tell from here. Think I heard a rumour that you live in Norwood...could always talk a walk down there and ask...would be good exercise too ;)

Yeah, fair enough. I realise now through process of elimination that one of those defensive spots would be young Luke Brown, as mentioned above.

Thanks for the fitness advice, I'll stick to my own routines thanks, which involves walking to the Parade for dinner

Plus Rossy would get suspicious with me popping in during the week ;)

And yes, the rumour is true, I live in Norwood and not too far from Coopers Stadium either :D
