*Ahem* The NorEast does very nicely thankyou ;) Now .. Play on lads :D

Here's something for you Doggies fans to do in bye week .. With a full squad of healthy players (excluding only those ruled out for the season and AFL listed players you would be unlikely to get, ie, J Westoff), what do you think your strongest lineup would look like?

$60k, that's disappointing that we couldn't raise that.
You're right.
But doesn't hide the fact that the pokies your club bought are in a storeroom - those from Norwood who like to have a go at us about ours should remember that they'd use theirs if they could too...

Were those already owned by the venue JK?
Because, I do know there are some in a storeroom locked away. Unless my very, very Norwood informant was wrong.

It was a new venue set up by NFC and they moved their machines out there.

Might be some that were purchased from the Community Club when we bought it (minus the gaming license), but the club already had a license and all the court drama's were to get this transferred to out of our zone ... The NorEast was built from scratch (or close enough to) and thats where the (upgraded) machines the club owned now operate.

So tell me, what are Norwood's plans for a community sporting hub?

Thanks for the explanation.
I asked my Norwood supporting mate, who was brought up in the Norwood FC, about the RSL Club and why the club used it.
As part of his response, he told me the story about the pokies which prompted my gag above.

So...let me get this right, people from Norwood bag Centrals about it pokies but have them themselves? Will remember that.

Yes, one of the great ironies lol ... I don't think there's any club without Pokies these days is there?

Are you rip van winkle or do you truly believe that Centrals are the only SANFL club with a gaming venue???

Wouldn't worry, Staritski is utterly obsessed with Centrals. I would think 80% of his posts have been about us. Very sad when a hatred for a club exceeds one's support of your own.

I'm not sure how you get that perception from my post.
But, no I don't. I wasn't aware of Norwood's venue, last I'd heard they were still battling to have one.
As JK pointed out above, I think you'd have read that, there's probably no clubs without pokies.
I just find it a bit hypocritical that any club's supporters would bag another club for having pokies.
I've read it several times on this site and heard it hurled as a sledge at games.

I agree, good point there!

Centrals cop it because alot of ill-informed opposition supporters blame Centrals success on $$$ from the Pokies and "buying" success.

Yeah but many of the others are quite witty and do bring a chuckle sometimes. The only thing funny about Staritski is his username ;)

Thankfully. It took about five posts for me to make a good point! I got there...eventually.
It's a poor assumption to make - it might help win some SA Clubs awards though.

Agreed, this is the norm for staritski. Up to his normal standard. It may have been staritski, who wrote on the Norwood forum, he only posts on this forum to stir ( then again there's a couple of others it could have been), I can't be bothered searching.
