Would think Macreadie will have a week off while the other two reported players a reprimand at worst.
Was great to see clubs playing with spirit not like that sterile AFL rubbish

Back to today's game, was obvious from the first bounce the west were "on" showing a lot more determination and fight at the contest than our last game against the Legs. We appeared to be first to the contest and harder at the ball all game.

Got away to a great start in each of the first 3 quarters, but North responded late in each term with goals. West had the chance to finish the game, but went goalless in the final quarter which was disappointing. Maybe the scoreboard wasnt a true reflection of the win.

Having only seen Alleway in Round 1 with his great game against Feguson, was suprised to see him moved to the backline for the second half. Thought Francou shot himself in the foot with that one. North supporters views?

I may get my head bitten off for this, and dont get me wrong, I would have Allen in my team all day long, but does he get too much of the ball in the last line of defence when he should be at that next contest at half back/centre wing etc. ?Thought he could be more damaging if he didnt go so far deep in defence.

North have no real height in their back half, simple as that, after yet another horrid recruting drive, so alas someone like Alleway has to go back, I have asked the question already how may contested marks North took inside 50 today compared to West, let alone the unconested ones.
I agree re your comments re James AllAn but thats the way he plays, take AllAn out of the North side one would hate to see the end results each week

Hope Caruso is OK.

West far too good today, scoreboard probably flattered North in the end, West and Norwood are easily the most impressive sides Ive encountered this year.

West smashed North at the stoppages and were a much better drilled unit.
Cassissi was very impressive after a long lay off, it'll be his last game at West for a while.

Backwell wont get any games from his report in the ressies, just an umpire trying to make a name for himself.

Jimmy Allan amazing, if it wasn't for him North would have have been in a similar predicament to 2003 the last 4 seasons.

West, Norwood and Eagles clearly the best 3 teams in the competition IMHO, I'd predict a Norwood v West GF if it wasn't for the way Central lift themselves 10 goals in the finals.

4th to 9th in the SANFL a waste of time, should organise a secondary finals.

PS West, we're still in the Foxtel Cup, you're not! ;)

Are you saying Central are a waste of time this year!

Care to make a wager on Central making the top 3.

Geezus, Im pissed, I meant West, Norwood and Central in that comment. Eagles are carp, even North can beat them.
Settle down Doggies fans, I know you're sensitive and quick off the mark but I'm sure if you read my comment in full you'd know what I meant. ;)
Substitute Eagles for Central in that comment.

Yes, West Adelaide have got sniping down to a fine art- you've been developing it nicely since 1991.
Must be why your club hasn't won a flag since 1983.

I'd be a tad irate if someone threw a cheap shot in on me.
Still, cheap shots are in West's culture, so why would we expect any different.
Loser.
