It's not often the magpies get flogged at Elizabeth Oval, even when we have been struggling and Centrals dominating, its usually a 4 goal game at most.

I reckon they've been competitive in night games against Centrals, I'm not so sure about day games out there though.

Seriously big chance Sibenaler, Hayes and Hardy could all be missing for this weeks game.

Will be intersting to see who Lairdy plays in the backlines this week!

With the amount of injuries Central have got at the moment, it is possible he might play a half at league level perhaps. It will be the 'match fitness' he'll be lacking so the Crows might instruct to have him play a ressies game first, who knows?

I've read some crap on here, but that takes the cake. When was the last time a player was picked to play a half in the seniors? Whoever gets picked, whether it's Callinan or a kid, will be expected to play the full game when they run out onto the ground.

I meant that he would be eased back into it seeing as though it would be his first game in over 3 months so his match fitness would be lacking. I guess I meant he is not going to play a full game as a midfielder and that the final total amount of game time he participates in may equate to just a half of the total game time.

No need for the carry on Graham  , I just didn't get the point I was trying to make across in an effective way.

Hmmm, interesting choice... walk home after the car is pinched or run the risk of being shanked on the train for my Nike's.....

Or, have your watch stolen...you should see the diamond encrusted gold watch that I rolled a Norwood supporter for!!! Nice!

Looking forward to this match...Central District versus the real Port Adelaide...

Good to see Haydon get another match...definitely talented! I wanna see Waldhuter play league soon plz Roy...

I think the match will be tight for 3 quarters with the Dogs winning it by 4 goals!

One for Port supporters...what has happened to Jamie Solly???

With an extended interchange bench for the Dogs, there is still a chance Haydon will go back to the reserves, although I think it might be Ash Duncan to drop back if James Gowans plays league.

As for Waldhuter, he would have had is league debut already had he not got suspended in the reserves back on ANZAC Day. He is now with the State Under 18's and was BOG last week for them against Qld.

I don't think Central will see Josh until the Championships finish in late July / early August and by then many of the injured league players will be back. I too would like to see him play league footy.

I will take you to task there Grahaml, last year at the parade the power would only let rodan play about a half. The power coaching panel were sitting in the grandstand and were yelling at him to get him off the ground.

I'd be happy for Callinan to play half a game. In that time he can do plenty of damage and his rehabilitation is the most important thing.
We used to be good :-(

I thought it was a reasonable comment Big Phil - if we didn't have so many injuries it is likely Callinan would have made his comeback in the reserves, as Chad O'Sullivan did.

Am wondering whether the Crows have any say in how one of their listed players returns from injury?

Anyway hopefully we'll be up by 30 goals at half time and he can be rested for the second half. :-bd

I am not 100% sure but IIRC he did his knee in the finals last year.

Someone else could confirm or set me straight on this though
