Gonna sound strange I guess (whats new I suppose), but I actually left the game feeling a bit disappointed .. We were challenged by the best and I didnt think we responded real well.

Obviously happy to take the vital premiership points, but still feel there's a fair gap we need to make up on this mob.

Good to see ya again Smaccer and Doggy, and nice to meet ya Cennals!!

Yes.

And Chris Gowans whenever in posession of the footy !!!

A Norwood supporter up in the back of the stands today had a bit of a verbal stoush with James Gowans as well !!!

Gowans hjaving a verbal stoush with a spectator ?Noooooooo. He also gave a player a whack on the arm and a spray during the game.

I watched it on the TV and was impressed with 21 for Norwood ,Pfieffer he looked liked he had potential as did Suckling.Shenton I have seen a few times and each time doesn't do enough IMO but that could be unfair as I dont see him weekly. Donahue ?? the small forward fits in the same category and although not a big guy , certainly lacks marking skills. Bode was good and McGuniess was very good. It was good to see the umpires actually reward the tckler with holding the ball as well ,Norwoods tackling in the 3rd was very good.

As for Central , I dont think they'd be too concerned , I think their ins may out weigh Norwoods.

I thought the crowd was disappoinnting as well.

WOW its amazing no matter which players these teams put on the park they play close games. This was another classic!!!!

I am very proud of how the 21 blokes represented the CDFC today.

I said to a mate the misses at goal in the first quarter could come back to bite us, they did.

For Central the two blokes coming in Duncan and Haydon were very very good today. Duncan played his best game for the CDFC. Haydon despite being small showed lots of courage and gave it his all.

Havelberg and Obst both had shockers. Havelbergs kicking at goal was terrible and Obst just didnt get near it enough.

For Norwood there pressure was very good. McGuinnes was HUGE today especially in the last quarter.

These teams are now 1-1 for the season i am 100% certain these teams will play more than one more game against each other. Both clubs have much bigger fish to fry.

Injuries play a massive part in games of football. Both clubs rightly have reasons to believe they will be better when September/October roles around.

We found the true shooter of JFK he was at the Norwood Oval in the last quarter just ask Andrew Hayes.

I wont comment on the umpires for the next 24 hours otherwise i will probably be up for defamation!

Really?

Didn't enjoy seeing David Haydon make a great debut, Ash Duncan play pretty well or Luke Barmby play his best game of league footy for the Dogs?

This, coming from the same group of supporters who thought it was so funny that Simoin Phillips had his jaw broken last year.
