Not that it would happen, but what if Taylor came out on Saturday and instead of kicking 7 and registering no tackles, he kicked 12, gave 5 off and laid a massive 8 tackles with 6 of his goals resulting from forward pressure.

With not knowing how Taylor would actually go, surely the Crows telling Taylor it is '2 weeks minimum' is wrong and pretty unfair to the lad, especially if he performs that first week?

Despite the lack of tackles, I would think 7 goals alone is surely enough for him to be seriously considered, if not almost assured a game back in AFL ranks?

Will be interesting for sure to see what happens at the selection table this Thursday afternoon.

Plus he didnt make a tackle on the weekend so according to that knob craigy his defensive pressure doesnt warrant him returning :D
Legs to win by 5 or 6, Tex to kick 8

This is it. Craig has made a rod for his own back here. As you said, Tex didn't lay one effective tackle last week but booted 7 goals. If the Crows pick him based on his 7 goals after dropping him for not tackling, Craig would need to explain why.

It's a sad day when tackles are more important in footy than goals.

Not for the Redlegs screw the Cows.

Despite the loss of a lot of last years talent, Norwood are determined to keep clawing
their way out of the mire of recent seasons and Port must be very frustrated with where
they've been recently. Dunno why, but I have a funny feeling we might see more than
'the usual fireworks' between these 'best friends' tomorrow night.

So if he kicks no goals and lays 7 tackles he'll get promoted.

He was dropped for specific issues, which the Crows have publicly acknowledged. The fact he didn't seem to improve in those areas last week suggests he's got some way to go.

And let's be honest, Walker's been dominating the SANFL for years now so kicking 7 would be what the Crows expected from him.

Good luck to young Tom Langford if he plays league, I've seen a bit of him in the 2's for the Legs and he is an impressive key forward.
