Dunno, too busy smashing down a medium/rare Eye Fillet with copious amounts of red at The President's Luncheons to comment.

I also think West's BBQ is over rated - it is good but not like it is miles ahead of everyone else? The quality varies at all grounds IMO, year to year but they are all about the same to be honest based on the fact that the majority of us on here only go to each of the other grounds once maybe twice a year maximum except for the "tragic no other life" posters on here such as Bayman, Big Phil (Only joking guys! LOL)

My pick so far this year is South and has been for a few years. The Panthers catering full stop is the best in the SANFL IMO. Sturt's BBQ was pretty good last week though, which at least is not out sourced like the bulk of the rest of the catering at Unley but that I think will be the way all clubs go eventually.

North's BBQ is good too - what distorts people's view is the service is so slow but hey they are club volunteers so it is a bit petty to complain too much.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Agreed. I'll have a sample at Westies, but generally they're all about the same.

When at Alberton earlier on, the BBQ next to the beer shed in front of the Old Grandstand wasn't there. Was there a BBQ ? I settled for a shitty Hot Dog...

Agree with that OTR, the North bbq is pretty good i think.

Noarlunga, Richmond, Elizabeth and Woodville are all good too.
Trust the process.

The BBQ @ Alberton for the glenelg game was cooked next to the gate at u walk in and served from the canteen between the 2 grandstands.. and was very very ordinary...

For the west game it was cooked and served from the BBQ itself, and was a much, much better quality..

will see how the parade stands up in a couple of weeks

Just don't ask if the pies are warm...or at least make sure their fingers are clean

Westies!.
I reckon you need to get the Shaslicks though. YUMM! Tasty 7 top quality at a good price.

I havent been there yet this season though, ... or since Dave Lee passed away.
RIP Dave.

The 2 snags in bread for $3 at the Bay have really hit the spot for me this season.
Yeah, Naah,..... Bollocks!

well this proves who has the best bbq
"Take Westies, for example. Line all the clubs together and the Bloods' barbecue wins hands down. Here you get a small colour-coded tile at one window which you present at the next to collect your snag, steak, hamburger or - wait for it - even a shashlik. It doesn't get any better than this."

I think Noarlunga's very underrated, but a lot of people probably dont make it down there.

I think we should let South and West have the best BBQ title. They ain't got much else going for them.

The one on the hill - I'm not really a fan of.

The one under the veranda on the otherhand - as Bruce would say Delicious.
