I think the works will start the day after the Australia vs India one dayer on Australia day next year

Guess that means the end of the agreement with Adelaide Oval and the Sturt footy club to play night games there, along with the various other SANFL games played at night there. Where do Sturt and other sides that dont have lights go to host night footy, Football Park perhaps?

Defeats the purpose IMO. The Parade would be a better option or go back to more day games.

Defeats what purpose ? Sturt knew they would only be playing night games for a year or two anyway ? Purpose to make some money on night games
