Thanks to all for posting updates on the game.
Being a life long Westies supporter now living in the USA its hard to keep up (although I always get to a Bloods game when in town).
Keep up the great work!

Quiet for a review thread. Perhaps Westies supporters are at Church thanking God for the great start to the year and Sturt supporters are praying for a miracle they improve

Must've been a different game :)
I doubt there were many times when the ball was in Sturts F50 that there was one player on the defensive half of the ground.

All teams get numbers behind the ball. Your team did it many times last night. Sturt actually reminded me of us last year. Not enough run out of defence and poor skill level. How things have changed.

LOL mate - I think the truth is that westies supporters went to game expecting to win and the team did the job - enjoyed the win but now the focus is straight onto the next game - while a good start we have a long way to go to play finals.

Good on Westies for winning again - that must be one of the best starts for years.

Have noticed though that the wins have been over North, an underdone Centrals, and Port - not sure if West have really been tested yet.

Interestingly their next two games look relatively easy too - Port at Alberton then South at Richmond.

Things get a little harder after that when they play Glenelg then Eagles then Norwood - that may reveal the true extent of the Westies revival...

port at alberton is tough

they will beat glenelg and the unbeaten run underlights will continue and i think they can do the same to norwood. the eagles away i can see them losing, but it will be a close game

fish, another way of looking at it is that they beat North at Prospect for the first time for many years.

They beat Centrals who were so underdone they won their next game by 12 goals. West didn't just beat Centrals, they won by 12 goals and held Centrals to one goal a quarter.

They then beat Sturt by 9 goals, after Sturt had beaten the Eagles by plenty. In consecutive weeks, West had their biggest winning margins over both teams in recent memory and held Central to their lowest score against West ever.

You're right that there are big tests to come, but underestimate the Bloods at your peril.

The top-of-the-table Bloods are 3-0 ahead of a date with perennial strugglers Port and South in the next fortnight.

It wouldn't be anything to what you'd see at a Central Vs Norwood game.
