soft diet and everything at room temperature to avoid a) burning my numb lip, b) setting off extreme hot/cold nerve pain in my jaw

Wow... given we had 23,400 last week, that's quite a drop off... those Norwood fans must have been right... It was all Redlegs at AAMI last Saturday...

Thats a pretty ordinary crowd for these 2 clubs.Where are all these Port supporters that claim they want one club ? At least follow your side .

2500 perhaps?

That's what I thought at the start of the game but wouldn't be surprised to read the figure ending up being closer to 3,000 perhaps?

Going out on a limb there Maxy . ;)

Agree with the point you are trying to make HP but have we actually seen a final crowd figure from Alberton?

Being a Saturday afternoon fixture there are obviousy local footy and country leagues playing which may detract some supporters from coming to the SANFL.

So, another timeslot that doesn't suit Port Adelaide? How dare the SANFL schedule a Saturday afternoon fixture. Unprecedented.

I understand what you are saying PP, as HP mentioned above, every club has to deal with the Saturday arvo time slot. I guess we saw last year th Maggies membership numbers and weekly crowds were pretty healthy and league leaders because of all the support that was put behind the club with the pending fear of extinction at the time.

Now their survival has been assured, for the time being, with the Power merger, looks like some of tha support may have dropped away.

Again, is there a confirmed crowd figure for this game as yet?

It was a joke mate hence the laughs etc.Lighten up mate cos if you want me to pick you up on spelling or other mistakes we'd be here all day ! I am not fussed what you call me , not as precious as you by the sounds of it.Bit of a joke mate.

Yep back to the thread so stop replying if it means so much to you.

What was the outcome of Mercers shoulder injury , it looked bad but he played on.Maybe just a pinched nerve or something but he does present well. They have some exciting players Port ,just need to slow it down a bit at times but they are very quick.
