I think that this little comment has been taken out of context, a player got belted in an altercation at a pub in town, that's the fact, OTR wasn't trying to make a big deal out of it, not like Us Central supporters. Centurion is spot on ... Dogs have often failed to dominate the minor round but they finish top 3 and then fire up in the finals.

Its not the first time in recent years I have seen Central belted in a minor Rd game (Sturt 2009 & Eagles 2008 have had both won by 80+ points in recent years) but they have been one offs.

Let's judge after Rd 5 when they have also played South, Norwood and Glenelg ... if they are 1-3 at this point then its a concern.


More of a worry would be the off field concerns with "average" memberships & home crowds, functions cancelled and no money for a light upgrade. The sun is shinning but is hay being made?

Maybe Pickard will come along & give Us a hand-out!

No-one, particularly Pickard, is interested in anything outside of Port/Norwood/Sturt/Glenelg and matches involving two of those sides.

Got stuck into Central for last nights performance (rightly so) and was scathing toward the Dogs ruck brigade...

He didn't want to name names but Warren also made mention he felt that there have been a few Premiership players for Central that have been 'carried' by others and need to have a good hard look at themselves, particularly after last night.

Don't know topsy, would you rate a Norwood player pretty highly if he played out the 2nd half of a Grand Final after re-fracturing a 'broken leg' and still have an influence?

Plus, I thought Boyd wasn't the Doggies worst player out there last night, although there were quite a few others that were !!!
