My wish would be that we (NAFC) have the V for home games and bring back the stripes from the 80's for the away games. I loved the stripes plus we did get 2 flags in that time and didly squat since then with the new V

would be a good move from not only a fan perspective not having clash guernseys and it could generate income through sales

Clash guernseys are a good idea. all clubs should have and promote them.

Sorry - I reckon the stripes one was a shocker.

North's strip looked better in the 70's when they wore the red socks with the white tops, and not the hoops..

Yes North should have red socks with white tops ....distinctively North.
Norwood should have the patent on plain red socks.
Personally I have always admired the bright red with a white V North jumper and see no need for a second strip.
Port Magpies will never have a second strip so North could be the same ...along with Sturt ....that have no real clash.

Clubs like Norwood, West, South and Bays do clash often and should wear alternate against each other. Would like to see the Bays in reverse yellow and black like Yankalilla ...looks great.

I'm not too keen on getting one, but if we had too, agree that this should be the one

Agreed, no need to change, Just because others do, doesn't mean everyone has to follow.

Besides , where would Gliderol put their name?? Not happy when that happened either.

If secondary strips were absolutely necessary, this is what I would like to see.

Centrals -- bring out the old late 70's strip with the V's on it, but make it predominantly white instead.
Glenelg -- the one Bayman is talking about. Even a strip where the colours are reversed would be good.
Sturt -- light blue SFC symbol, dark blue for the rest
South -- they used to wear a jumper similar to Geelong's, right?
Port -- I saw a picture of a Maggies jumper from the 1940's which didn't feature prison bars, but a Collingwood-esque deal with a black stripe down the middle which was thicker than the other stripes.
Norwood -- nah... unless they want to do their old Melbourne-style thing.
West -- black and red stripes / red with black sash
W-WT -- a three-striped jumper a-la St. Kilda would work I reckon
North -- they've got the red V thing, so there goes that one.

Agreed. The gold sash should be sacred. No sponsors names on there.

No that is the guernsey the Bays wore from about 1961 until 1966. The guernsey Bayman is referring to was predominantly gold with a black V. I don't think it was the Yoked Vee which incidentally was very fashionable in the early 1960s with Norwood Woodville and Glenelg all wearing one.

I didn't realise how much Stephen Kernahan resembled Harry until I looked at this photo.

Not against an inverse prison-bars guernsey.

Like the current training guernsey.

White shorts and hooped socks...

Sounds like the 1950 guernsey.

Port wore a Collingwood style guernsey in 1949 and 1951.

1947/48: White guernsey with thin black stripes.

Can see them all here...
