The last I heard, it was going to be late December...

I have spoke with someone from the SANFL recently and they are confident it will be finalised and distibuted by the end of the year, which is on par for was said...

Seriously, it's getting a bit ridiculous now.

I bet we'll be in early March and teams still won't know who they're playing in R1.

yeah, the way its going the draw will be done on the monday after the last round of trial games
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Welcome to the real world. We have to deal with this every year at the SAAFL level.

We also have to plan functions etc. We are no longer fly by the seat of our pants clubs any more.

We can't do our membership packages mail outs with the programme until late March or plan past player days as this is a lot of work when you have at least 3 premiership reunions every year. With turnovers in excess of 256k for most of the D1 clubs it does make it hard but we struggle on and make the best of it.

If the rumours are true and Norwood vs Port round 1 is an FL curtain-raiser then I have a few questions:

1. Will my 2 season tickets I purchased on the basis of entry to ALL minor round games get me in?
2. Children under 18 (I take 4 with me each week) get free entry, still apply?
3. Will the Norwood supporters be given a section to sit in, or split up across the ground?

**** I hate curtain-raisers!!!!! :evil:

Why does the 2011 draw need to be launched through the Sunday Mail?
Do they get a kickback?
The draw has already been decided so stop playing games with the football public and put it on your website today.
