How could he be an IN when he played at the Eagles this year? :?

Perhaps as the Power was paying him and not the Eagles.

There's a rumour floating around up here that Centrals, sometime before the Grand Final, had already done some recruiting for players next year in Melbourne...stay tuned for that one...

Well that puts that to bed then.
Has Elbows Callinan signed with the dish-lickers? He'd be a good pickup, could teach our young guys how to play fair!

what, THAT old chestnut again? Get over it! (and He didn't elbow him, maybe YOUR coach should teach his players to watch where they're going).

"Where South can make some gains is in recruiting locally from other competing sides in the SANFL and I do think we as a club will be fairly active in this area."

I hear from a brother of a friends mother who is related to a cousin's sister of a player that a couple of lads from a club that played finals this year have been already been approached

would be very handy inclusions who would add toughness around the ball

of course they have to say yes first!

but money speaks all languages

time will tell

Played very well for us until being moved on to Richmond at his own request, from Port.
Had a strange injury in his chest in 09 (can't remember the name of the injury) and didn't manage to play many games since then for Richmond.

Pretty sure I read in the Advertiser the other day that Alleway had signed on for another year with North...

I think he will be appointed Captain of the side. James Allan was talked about attracting interest from other clubs...

I assume you are talking about Alan Obst?

I'm hearing he is in the middle of a uni course in Melbourne and not sure if it can be transferred back to Adelaide?

Time will tell...

Is this really what Norwood needs, very unsure what he adds to your side, he was terrible in both the Prelim and GF, surely your ressies have a younger, quicker, mobile player who could play a similar role.

Im not having a go, as in his day he was brilliant BUT i dont get this love affection with having him back in the side, personally i think Norwood have moved on.

I reckon it's a good thing to have him at the club for a number of reasons, last season he was playing good footy and his presence made a massive difference to our structure, unfortunately he got injured at the wrong time of year.

I think we really struggled for depth this year, so having another 6ft 6" bloke around always helps .. I'd suggest the club wouldn't be pinning their hopes on Stu and would still be looking around for KPP options
