WDIBLATS?
Why did I bother looking at this subject?
Surely something better could've been thought of. MONSFAW, FFS!

that rhymes! yes, they can but the way that it was built up, almost as though just by saying it, the players would dig deeper and win. Skill & years of training is therefore pointless.

When will you ever realise Norwood supporters couldn't give a flying frig what you think. If people at Norwood want to do something they will, whether you think it's pointless of not.

We've had to put up with your purile and childish "uuuuuuudddddoggggggggsssss" for long enough so suck it up sunshine.

BTW, It was so nice seeing those Central supporters in handcuffs outside the ground after the match ... pity they didn't catch more of you.

Not as players  despite what you might say next.

FYI a woman was part of the original group of 5 when it was started...and what you lot consider 'childish' we call 'family friendly' but wouldn't perhaps expect many of you to understand that concept...from your own club forum...

And to the dick head with flares I do not appreciate my child been hit with them so PLEASE, keep them at home before someone gets hurt.

Again disappointing, shows the depth of your true character, shallow, thankfully not that of the players and committee and those supporters I came across yesterday,of the CDFC

I think AH, we can understand you don't give a frig. If some of us think your "secret weapon" was quite amusing and good fun to work out and want to post that, we can.
I hadn't bothered posting on it previously, because we don't give a "frig" what you think, but now in context. It's funny how some of your supporters have labelled the CCCEEEENNNTTTRAAALLSS chant "mind numbing" or a few other things I can't be stuffed looking up. What we know, is the atmosphere created by Central supporters lifts the team. Why, because they've told us after each premiership.
If MONSFAW lifts your team and "confuses" the opposition good luck to you. I hope Keith Thomas remembered to tell the players or can we expect it next year?
A Collingwood (and Glenelg) supporter came with me to the footy on Sunday. He thought the Central supporters were brilliant and was glad Collingwood had adopted the chant this year (made for an amazing atmosphere).
I'll look forward to sucking it up next year sunshine, especially if it's like 2010.

I'm so glad that AH could join us. As usual, a sterling contribution.
AH, I admire and respect your outlook on the history of the SANFL but you are sadly disillusioned with the modern game. I truly do wonder why you bother to visit this site seeing as you hate the modern SANFL so much.

MONSFAW seemed a bit silly but at least another club had a crack at adding some vocal colour to the league. That deserves some credit.

By the way, was your cheer squad leader Alex? Did he wear the sleeves with gloves on them so he didn't hurt his hands?

If you mean the guy in the red lycra sleeves and leggings, that's Alex.

As for the red hats, it's not actually a cheer squad as such. Our cheer squad typically has more flags than people to wave them. The red hat brigade is "The Spirit" - the term comes from verse 2 of the club song that references "The spirit of ol' 46, six six". Most members of the Spirit are supporters who go week in week out, home or away. At home games, everyone has a favourite place to be but at away games, the Spirit typically congregate together.

So our club doesn't really have a traditional cheer squad as such, but we do have a group of passionate supporters who are collectively known as the Spirit.

Just digressing a bit, but it relates to cheering.....the players I spoke to all said the atmosphere was phenomenal and the cheering from all sections of the crowd was loud and contant all match - so much so that players on the ground were rarely able to hear one another.
