I reckon Cornsey will say it's the fault of some Centrals supporters, that got lost.

Perhaps it was just the tonic they needed given they came out and beat the Eagles after that!

Why wouldn't he want to sweep it under the carpet?

You honestly think a couple of footballers getting into a scrape would prevent people from attending the pub? If that were the case, most pubs in Australia would have closed down by now.

Most people no. But have you been to the Stirling recently? It's not really pitching at the outback-punchon-with-ya-mates-Walkabout type clientelle.

The place has been upgraded significantly to attract non fighting patrons, so any news of a massive fight out the front is hardly going to bring these people rushing through the doors is it.

I hope it doesn't impact the Stirling's business as the owner has done a lot of hard work to bring the place up to the standard it is today.
i work in stirling and have mates that live there and play for the Devils and they told me that people from the hills started it.
i think they just dont like Town people coming up to their friday night drinking hole, and the Stirling on Friday night does have the clientelle that likes to fist fight

What's happening over there? Pubs have gone soft.

I tell you Squawk , the Eagles were quite horrid especially their skills , so Strut will not get a better chance to knock us of then this week . Our best chance is for difficult weather conditions and positive attack .

Sorry mate, disagree. I know the other side of the story and North's involvement is a disgrace. If it was a fair, even fight then I might be able to understand, but what actually happened was far from.

The article fails to mention what happened to the other involved parties in all this.

Glen Elliot has a vested interest obviously. His son works at the hotel and he is good mates with the owner apparently. This will no doubt be swept under the carpet and kept as quiet as possible.

It is pretty blatant though that only Rucci and Port fans are getting stuck into the North Adelaide side of things.

I only piped up because some posts make it sound like the NA boys are blameless angels and I know the boys involved in the other side of the story.
Nothing to do with port.

DA, love your support for your so mates, but you werent there, and i can promise you that they were the instigators in the incident and the North boys didnt want anything to do with it! After having a team mate belted to a pulp for putting his hands up saying he didnt want any trouble as he was trying to get into bus, fair to say your mates might have been out there looking for it!

I don't want to appear pushy but I've asked you previously in this thread to present the other side, and yet you have refrained from doing so. In the absence of any contrary information, those of us who know nothing of the incident have to assume the overwhelming support for the North boys to be correct.

Mate I never said once my mates weren't the instigators.
What I'm saying is the na boys didn't have to get involved. It's very easy to avoid getting involved in a fight.

Fair enough. But I'm not going to post anything that will end up a legal matter.
So feel free to continue believing the NA boys are angels.
