May want to go home and play with his mates Mark Berts (former Melbourne rookie) and Luke Tyrell at Palmo.

Interesting article that one...it sort of contradicts itself...hopefully Trent can play on somewhere maybe a lighter training load may help him get thru if he decides to give it a go.
Trust the process.

You can be excused, given he did retire at the start of the year. Came back two weeks ago via the reserves.

Hoping its round 23 against the eagles but seriously well done to both on great careers.

I always thought Thurstans was a much maligned player while Nelson is one of the hardest ball players I've seen who could pretty much play any position on the field without any problems except for probably ruck or full forward.

I am sure Gags will be shocked to know of his early retirement !!!!!
No way.
Bowny is probably going to struggle to get back and it will be up to Timmy but I think he can smell one more flag.
Doyle if fit has no reason to give it away.

You can whack a * next to Tom Caudle's name big Phil. South player for those who don't know the name. Yep hardly earth shattering news I know 8)

Despite only playing a handful of league games, Tom has been a great club man, and will win another (I think he's won a few) ressies B+F this year.

Announced on the NAFC website that Heath Younie is retiring after this weeks final minor round game.

"Unit" has been one of the best ever recruits to play at North and could have easily kept his initial promise and gone home after one or two seasons considering they were in the bleak early 2000's.

The following is what the club has released:

Heath Younie has announced last night (Monday) to his team mates that he will retire from SANFL after this Saturday’s game against Port Magpies. Heath is one of the most decorated players to play for North Adelaide over the last decade and has become a real club man in everything he does, it is with a true “club first” attitude that he has taken this decision respecting the future of the Club and thus allowing young players to come through and play league football in Season 2011.

The Club has adopted Heath since he arrived from Victoria in Season 2001, and we look forward to him hopefully continuing on at the Roosters in a off field capacity next season. We wish Heath and his partner Kate every success as they approach the next stage of their life.

His record up until Round 22, 2010
Seasons 2001 to 2010
182 Games
269 Goals
2002 & 2006 Club Champion
2002, 2005, 2007 John Phillips Memorial trophy for Best Club Man
2006, 2007, 2008 Club Leading Goal Kicker
2007 Runners up Club Champion
2001, 2008 League Most Consistent
2002 Coaches Trophy (outstanding Service)
Club Vice-Captain

Reading between the lines in the club release I would think that is a certainty to happen. I would have him as Senior Coach ahead of Healy to be honest!
