Bays 16.20 North 9.9

U18's
Bays 25.14 North 8.3

Thanks Jabber, appreciated mate ;)

Was hoping for a Roosters win in the 2's but well done to the Bays, albeit a tad inaccurate in front of the big sticks by the looks of that.

... back to the game.

North had a red hot go in the first half, but as they fell away in the 2nd, the most noticable thing was that they played as individuals.

Whilst there were a few big outs today, North still have some decent cattle to play with.

In some ways they are similar to the Bays ... run hard and take some risks and they look good, stop doing that and it's fairly ordinary.

The Bays on the other hand have a long way to go. They got the points today but other than some inspirational efforts by Matty Bode and The Beard, fairly ordinary for most of the match.

Special mention to Shannon Snook, who performed extremely well in an unexpected call up for his first league game.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Hard not to with Alleway in the team. :D

Funny enough, he was the one that gave the biggest yelp in the first half, particularly the first quarter.

No one's denying he's a good player but remind me what success North have had with Alleway in the team?

Maybe you can put the rumour to bed that Alleway was a significant part of the push that got Jarman ousted? Heard this from a number of sources.

Absolute garbage post Topsy
Over the past 10 years there are stacks of top players who are part of teams that havent tasted success [ I wonder why ???]

I could post something like, how much success has Norwood had with Gallagher in your side or how much success have the Bays had with so and so in their side etc etc ;) ;)

No one said you don't have to like the opponents but you just post crap - he is one of the few "team" players busting his gut at the moment in what is a fractured playing group that has undeachieved.

No worries Drebin, you see North more than me.

Do Jars and Allers exchange Christmas cards or is the rumour about that particular destabilising behaviour not worth answering?

Going to tell the posters on The Roost the same thing? Andrew Newton Jarman features fairly prominently in the match review there too.

Glenelg played in second gear for the first half and eased up to third during the third quarter and blew North away proving, to anyone who didn't already know, they're the only meaningful threat to Centrals this year. A Carr and Allen vs Gowans X2 battle will be worth the price of admission come finals time.

I've been really impressed by Kirkby this year, any chance he wants to do a Vlatko? :D
