I thought the Eagles were bad in the first 1/2.Eagles and the Umps almost got North the win at times today.

Nothing wrong with the umpiring today, but obviously something there's something wrong with your vision.

Only a fan whose team was favoured by the umpires would write that.
But then my eye sight must be far superior to North Adelaides Forwards kicking for goals !!!
And my poor eye sight noticed many of Norths fans stayed home today.Seeing in most games between the two teams in recent years the Red army is always out in force!

Bandwagon Followers was thrown around today on the section of Wing I was sitting on !!!

Surprised you wern't in the stand as usual. ;)

U18s

Eagles 16.11.107
North 5.4.34

Who ever decided to have an u18s game at Prospect underlights has rocks in their head, as the lights are not up to standard for a game at any level.

Mighty Eagles I hate the termite stand at prospect .I hate sitting in it so much we sat in the rain under the trees ,before the seconds started.

Was a nice change to sit with the Vocal Eagle fans in the outer. Some very funny comments were flying out there!

Why because Eagle fans are posting 2 hours after a game or the losing Teams fans aren't.
Its what happens AM BAYS perhaps you'd do better commenting on your game.
And if your going to have a say where is WHUFC his bet is looking better tonight !!

what a difference a win makes ehh!! 4 posts within 3 hours of the final siren.perhaps *ur life outside footy* wasnt as busy this week? not a bandwaggoner are u?

The umpiring had it's usual mistakes, nothing that favoured either side, a few favoured North, a few favoured the Wiggles, it was really a non issue.
Once again if north had kicked straight it could have been different but certainly the umps didn't effect much at all

At times you think he's having a shocker .Like he got caught in the centre yesterday holding the ball.Resulted in North getting a goal.
Spurred Scotty on after that he was playing almost like a man possessed.
Was worth getting him to the club IMHO.

The first half was a diabolical display by both sides with the skills being displayed well below par. When North were 17 points up just before 1/2 time I had given the game away we were playing that poorly. Those 2 goals just before half time were crucial and when we scored the next 2 after 1/2 time , the momentum shift was in full swing.
I thought the footy we played in the last quarter was more like the stuff we played earlier in the year.
I actually feel for North supporters on that display today as the style of play is just not 'North Adelaide'.

Absolutely worth getting him to the club. Will also poll well in the Magarey I would think. Perhaps the only thing I'd like to see a bit more of is to get a bit harder at the ball. He has a fair bit of size to him and could dish out a decent bump if he went in hard but for seems reluctant at times to take a hit.

Your comment is spot on. I have followed North for over 50 years. I have had highly respected media commentators say to me that North Adelaide traditionally might not play the most successful brand of football but they do play the most attractive brand of football imagineable. Unfortunately the style we play is still less than successful and also most unattractive.

Eagles did what they HAD to do - win the game.

North kept us in the game in 1st half - shocking ball handling errors.

WHAT IS GODDEN DOING ????

Handball backwards constantly.
Handball around in circles to players FLAT FOOTED.

It MUST be a directive from the coach - no other explanation!

Although the jury is still out on his coaching - I must say that Saturday's display was the WORST I've seen in a long time!
Anyone who defends those tactics - needs their 'head red' IMO.
Appauling!

Look @ the BEST - Centrals.
Do they do it?
I think not.

Well according to Healy he isn't flooding, just that North have been 'accused' of doing so from time to time.
I haven't met a North supporter yet who believes what Healy says.
