I think North requested it so they'd have an excuse ready for when they get flogged by the Dogs, probably written up a template for their website for next Monday already.

Yeah I thought that as well Dutchy when looking at the draw in detail earlier in the year. Thought the 5 day turn around the trip to Elizabeth seemed a tad unfair. At least the Bays have a Sunday game and get the 6 day break, I thought the SANFL might have scheduled North's game as a Sunday as well, although the Dogs aren't a fan of the Sunday games.

Clint Alleway will not be playing in this game after receiving a 1 match ban after striking Byron Murphy in the game against Glenelg yesterday.

Slightly off topic, but me an whufc have a minibus organised for 6pm at grand central going into town for the socceroos game, still have a couple seats left, $8 each, if anyone is keen send one of us a pm and we can sort something out.

Yeah i don't know as a definate but wouldn't make any sense for him to play another reserves game when we need someone at league standard and there is only one way to find that out.

Add to that Berri have said they will only release him if his a serious chance of playing league which is fair enough on there behalf.

Good luck to Jason 'Pumpa' Sutherland if he survives the final cut and makes his league debut for the Dogs on Saturday...

From the Riverland comp to League football in a fortnight would be an impressive effort...
