That takes it to three talented young westies players taken in such tragic circumstances in recent years.
Reckon 4 including Jake Watson. I reckon of Corey should go up with the other 3 in race

very sad to hear to Corey. Heard was a very good player who could have been a chance for AFL.

the other 2 players were Jake Watson and Glen Knott, the 17's and 19's from West won the flag in the year they passed away and the captain was Adam Cooney.

Terrible news.
Great lad and a very talented sportsman. His football ability is well documented here but he was also a handy young cricketer.
RIP Corey.

Yeah i just didn't have Watson in the same category Thiele. Tragic yes but not on the road as the other 3.

Jack Snelling is on 5AA stating that they are putting through legislation to fufil an election promise to make high speed traffic offences Criminal Offences before a magistrate as opposed to just being Traffic Offences. It isnt the solution to the problem I know, yet it is hopefully a start in the right direction. Much more needs to be done however than just that.

Condolences
15/06/2010

The Woodville West Torrens Football Club would like to express its sincere condolences to the Siemers family and the West Adelaide Football Club after the heart-rending loss of Corey Siemers last week.

As a Henley High School student, Corey was well known to many within our Football Club and will be sorely missed.

We wish all of those affected by this tragedy the strength required to get through such a difficult period.

Good on the Eagles for posting a message of condolonce to Corey's family on their web site and also well done to Damon White from North Adelaide who, last night on the 5AA SANFL Show, passed on his sympathies on behalf of all involved at the Roosters.

It's terrible that this young man has lost his life in tragic, aweful circumstances but it is good to see the SANFL community stick together and provide strength and sympathy in these trying times.
