"Best of Both Worlds" has now been released for sale. Can be purchased at the WWTFC or Dymocks in Rundle Mall.
$50 for 2kg of great reading seems pretty good value to me.
Go forth and purchase.

Agree with Aerie, this is an awesome publication. This is not a boring chronology of year after year, game after game but a record of significant happenings, incidents, colourful players, landmark games and splendid photographs of the past 113 years. Reading this book will bring back many memories that you have forgotten. One of the best football books I have read.......a must read.

The lunch/launch of the book next Sat will be worth going to, the lovely Eagles receptionist said many ex greats will be there on the day including survivor's of the 53 premiership team,Blighty, Lindsay Head and Bob Hank to name a few. Cost for the lunch is $55.

This thread inspired me, I rang up Gerry from Toss of the Coin but he's closed till Tuesday so I went down to Dymocks and bought one. After flicking briefly through it I am more than impresssed! This book would have been cheap at double the price. I just wish the North history book was half as good as this.
If any fan of the SANFL past or present doesn't get their hands on one of these they're mad!
Amazing publication!

Don't worry Wedgie, North will have a decent history book one day to supercede the existing "classic" ;)

Yeah, awful.

Yeah agreed.
John did some great Port stuff and a Magarey book but this wasn't one of his better efforts.

A bit disappointed that there isn't any colour photos.
Other than that, it is an excellent book.

Got my copy of the book last weekend and have flicked through it over the last couple of days...

I must say, it is very enjoyable to look back at some of the old photos and read into the history of the 2 clubs, Woodville and West Torrens in the early days, very informative.

As a non-Eagles supporter ( but former member ;) ) I can strongly recommend this book to any fan of SANFL football, a must have for their collection.

Well done to Peter Cornwall and David Burtenshaw, you can see that the effort and passion they put into this book has resulted in a great publication.

Am heading to Linfcoln for work next week so looking forward to taking it with me and having a thorough read while in the hotel room.
