What was Wyman reported for?
Striking?

If so, who?

If Salter gets games for a hip and shoulder bump the SANFL is a joke

didnt thring end up on a stretcher from it?

McIntyre was stretchered off, Thring wasn't.
Wyman and Grocke would seem to be gone, Salter 50-50. A joke if Cica gets suspended, careless free yes, but even to be reported
And Thring would have come back on had he been taken off of the ground correctly. It would be wrong if Salter was suspended for a fair hip and shoulder with a previously unblemished record. Thring him drew him towards him and handballed at the last minute and left himeslf wide open.

That should be be could of come back on. Was fairly heavily concussed, and shoulder was in a sling after the game.

Yep, Thring's fault. He really should have been the one reported.

Well according to Newton's third law of physics then Thring is just as equal to blame

The reports were that North were reduced to two interchange because Thring did not go through the interchange gate - not because of injury.

Well we were taught, or soon learned, how to protect ourselves.

George is a good bloke and tough but he did leave himself wide open.

Yep, spot on on both counts.
Even as kids 25 years ago we were taught to protect ourselves.
But now the AFL rules don't encourage players to learn how to protect themselves, and we end up with these situation where players hit heads because they are afraid if they turn their bodies to protect themselves as a bump, and the other player doesn't, they will be suspended. (Not quite the case in Thring'd case, I know).

Well we were taught, or soon learned, how to protect ourselves. (Granger, Hayes, Muir, Wynne, Colosante, Duckworth, Loveday, Kinnear etc for some reason didn't seem to worry too much about rules they would just smash you.)

Didnt see the Grocke incident or the one with Cicca so won't comment on those.

I saw the Salter one though and it appeared from my vantage point to be a fair bump, no doubt it would have rattled Thring a fair bit as Salts is a big unit but i notice he was reported for charging, not rough condut like Grima from the bays who got a week for something similar based on what I have read elsewhere on the site. I dont think what i saw was a charge, it looked like a fair side on bump that if anything was late and probably deserved a free kick downfield, but IMO not reportable.

All I saw from Whyman was a punch to the head, I think it was Allmond on the receiving end, hard to know what the verdict would be on that, if its his first time there may be some leniency but seeing as he is up on 2 charges maybe not, could be a long night.
Trust the process.

Had he raised the arm or hit front on one or more would be fair i would think, but didnt do either of those things from what I could see, bye bye bump!

About what I expected for Grocke; Salter - what a joke!; Whyman  ; Cica - not surprised, it was a bit clumsy but nothing malicious, and not a fist either

If the incident was so bad what could have been taken into account in him just receiving a reprimand?

Didn't see the Cica incident nor the early Whyman report but not suprised by Salters one game - based on the Grima 1 match against us as am bays pointed out. Grocke deserved what he got - it was cowardly and he took a player out who had to go off to hospital. Pity though Grocke just doesn't try to play hard but fair and not try to throw his weight around against North - it seems he gets all upset everytime he plays us? He has, since he left proven to be a very reliable and good CHF and has a premiership to show for it. We have got over / forgotten that he was at North, why hasn't he?

Normally not a good defense. Must have been some provocation if the incident/s was/were as bad as has been alleged on here
