Port tried but simply dont have the cattle.

Jon Griffin's last two weeks have been excellent I thought he towelled up M-John. Although i thought Cloke had the better of Buckets. When Cloke was in the ruck Port seemed to get back into the game.

What a great grab from Brayden Ohara in the first five minutes.

BETTER PLAYERS FOR THE DOGS : Sansbury Griffin Gowans Williams Gunston Spurr Lawry Schell

Summerton is a superstar BTW.

Troubleis, where do We fit Gowans Hayes Boyd Henderson Duncan M.Westhoff Symes?

Throw in Cochrane, Havelburg & Dunne and the ressies may scrape into the five :) Apparently there were six that could have played yesterday, and would have if we'd been four months down the track........

According to Monday Morning Centreman, field umpire Richard Harvey has been dropped to the reserves due to his poor effort on Saturday.

Very disappointing crowd especially for a Port home again i must say for a club going thru its death throes no one is interested looks like they all stayed home to watch the Power, after all the hullabaloo early on in the year to save the Maggies looks like no one really cares a real shame.

Good to see the friendly banter between supporters on the outer, sure beats all the aggro from years ago !!!

he was imho lucky to get this game after the debacle the week before, i thought he while still very ordinary at least didn't try to control the whole match this week or richard williams wouldn't let him  ...he is way too over officious

perhaps mr harris took my advice a week later

Yep, that'd be right, the SANFL programs the Magpies directly up against the Power AGAIN and it's our fault that attendances are down. ](*,)

But don't worry, it happens again in a few weeks. Another opportunity to sink the collective boots in.

So you'll all be at the Bay on the 30th when we've made sure you won't be playing on the same day as the Power?? :D :D

You blokes sat on your hands when given the chance to play mid-year at Footy Park and the decision was taken out of your hands, yes?

With a re-scheduled home game to come, why pass up the opportunity to play at Footy Park? Bad memories of the place?

This is how it went from Glenelg's point of view:

Advantages- Included in Profit share of gate takings, rare match experience at Football Park, Don't have to travel to Alberton later in the year.

Disadvantages: Port Adelaide want it.

So, NO!

Oh OK, but no other club's matches clash with Crows TV games. :?
So did the Magpies bother to look at the draft fixture and ask for a change? Even after the season started they could have asked for a change (eg West v Port this Friday). Is Port that disorganised?

Hope you enjoyed the Showdown.

what does that matter? You barrack for Port, don't you? We go to the SANFL when the Power are playing. Are you saying that a lot of your supporters dumped the Maggies when The Power came along?

Welcome to 2010.

Of course many did choose to follow the Port Adelaide Football Club's fortunes in the AFL. Many choose to spend their hard earned on the AFL and not the SANFL.Not everyone can afford to do both, be it financially or time wise. What's your point?
