well done to the 'legs they were way too classy for the tigers

ps, how many times was JAS mentioned on the 5rph call tonight ? :D

Really? :? I thought he was comprehensively thrashed.

Highlight of the night for me had to be Ruwoldt running back with the flight of the ball, missing the mark, having the ball whack him in the face, rebounds 20 metres to a running Norwood player who belts it through for a goal. If you're gonna lose, there might as well be some comedy.

Well played the Legs, some great opportunistic goals in there.

An approximately 23 goal turnaround from round 1  , we're still five points up I believe. ;)

Would have to be one of the worst games I've seen B. Kane play.

Very good win for the legs tonight - surprised me (as they did last week).

Duigan was outstanding. Boy has he got pace and I love how he takes the opposition on.

Phillips was superb as well and kicked a couple of miraculous goals in the 3rd term.

Walker was also very good. What I enjoyed about his game were the 1 percenters. The knock ons to team-mates instead of grabbing the ball and even his tackling and chasing were pretty good. Keep that up and we wont see him at Norwood much anymore.

I thought Allen or Meyer were probably the bays best.

Umpiring was pretty good tonight. Can't remember too many bad decisions from the men in white with red socks.

How good are West and South.

The only 2 teams to beat them under lights this year. :D

A great win set up by the commitment of each and everyone one of our players. Great tackling, chasing, harassing.

Our zone defence is working amazingly well, opposition teams are really struggling to break it. Couple that with exceptional defenders in Young, Duigan and McGuiness and you've got a great defence.

Better players (other than saying everyone!), were Lower, Phillips, Duigan, Puopolo, Young, Zorzi and Walker.

Best 4 players at the after match were Duigan, Gallagher, Puopolo, Phillips.

Once again our skills and decision making excellent. Pressure when we didnt have the ball too much for glenelg. They hardly ever had time and space.

I've said this before but glenelg are a very soft football team when under pressure. A team that has 'unfinished business'. Exactly what business are they trying to finish with that crap.

The rain, and some wasted Norwood opportunities in the 2nd qtr, saved the bays from a 100 point belting tonight.

Well done to the umpires tonight. I picked 5 ducks/dives from bay players and they only gave 1. To the bays credit 2 of them was from Josh Carr. The other blemish was the ridiculous holding the ball decision against Zorzi in the 2nd qtr, then another decision from the resulting forward entry to Bode giving them their only goal for the qtr.

Well done Norwood the only question is how long can we keep it up? Dont get ahead of ourselves coz the bays were utter crap tonight.

One negative is that the bays realise how much they need to lift their game and they have plenty of time to do it.

The match vs North next week becomes more important than tonight's game as there's the hope of going 4-4 into the bye. 3-5 makes it an uphill battle to challenge for 5.

most things went for them tonight, the bounce of the ball seem to fall for them but they made it happen.

Was very impressed with simon Phillips, I thought he played an outstanding game, and he kicked a very handy goal from the scoreboard pocket and it was goals like that, that really did highlight that it wasnt to be our night.

I didnt think we were that bad up until half time, if we couldve got a few more clean disposals, some running and decent kicking into the forward line, but Norwoods pressure was sensational and we did the mini league move of the defenders up forward and forwards as defenders...

Norwoods last 2 weeks they have kicked big scores whilst holding the opposition to 10 goals combined.......

i cant believe we belted them by 76 pts only 6 or so weeks back

What he said, 100% spot on.

Two years ago i heard the phrase, "well that was sh!t", it deserved to be said again tonight.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I wonder if Hitchcock would be the first Port/Crows player recruited from an SANFL club to make his AFL debut before his SANFL debut, i presume he would be.

I know Hayden Skipworth made his AFL debut before his league debut.

Pretty sure Hayden Skipworth played his first AFL game before his first SANFL game. I actually think he may have played in an under 19s Grand Final or premiership then played AFL without playing any league or reserves footy in between.

Did Walker play midfield or defence later in this game ?
Just wondering if perhaps NIL Craig asked Nathan Asset if so
