Good luck to Norwood and the KHunt.
Is this the first KHunt to play at Norwood or have they had other KHunts before?
I look forward to when North play them so I can see the KHunt in the flesh.

Really? I wasn't aware of any. Wish there were a few Pussies playing for us, Ablett, Scarlett and Chapman would he quite handy! Bamford was a Pussie and a Lion but he retired a while ago and Clarkey played for the Pussies too but is also retired, perhaps you got confused with them?
Let's try and keep this topic on track about Norwood and their KHunt though, North and Geelong have nothing to do with them.

I actually played footy with a lad at Golden Grove a couple season ago whos name is James Khundt and as far as I am aware, it is pronounced like that naughty word ladies don't like to hear. I think he played a few underage games at Central, although Golden Grove is of course in the Norwood zone.

There you go Wedgie, I kept the post on topic, with it relevent to Khundt(s) and Norwood mate ;)

Would agree with that :?

would definitely agree with that.
Well I guess its wait and see. Is there much to lose? He wouldnt be on a packet and how many times do you see a player move clubs and perform?

Can't play at this level; but not much to loose, unless they have paid South a big transfer fee?

Showed a small amount in his limited league appearances in 2009. Reasonably good pair of hands. I must confess to seeing a grand total of 0 minutes of reserves footy this season, but have noticed that he has generally kicked a couple of goals each week. Given our struggles in the ressies in recent years it’s probably not the best news

Could be a handy fringe player but little more IMO.

A good pick up, I don't think he will save our season or be the answer to all our problems but we need forwards so he is worth a try.

Think he will do quite well for Norwood, he came across from Vic to SA to try and have a real go at furthering his football career and with Nathan Bassett being renown for Junior Development I do think he is a good fit for Norwood and will do very well under Bassett. Pity he didnt stay on at South, yet I do agree that for some players that are stuck in a rut and cant get a game sometimes the best thing that can happen is a change of clubs to get things moving again. He has shown some real talent and if Bass can draw that out of him Norwood will have made a very good pick up for the club!

If the name is of Germanic origin, which it looks to be, the U should have the sound of English put or German putsch or kuchel, rather than English cut.

Good luck to him. If he's not getting a game in league at South dont expect too much. I have seen him play a few times and can play but doesnt get involved enough in the game.

Mitch Sandery did exactly the same thing and was great for SA last season.

I would assume his first name would be pronounced "Yak" , as most European continental countries pronounce J's as Y's ( ie Juha in Finland is " You-ha ") Therefore , I think his name might be pronounced Yak Hunt.

Not to mention one A. Cockshell, our last clearance to South. So we've effectively swapped A.Cock for K-Hunt. Interesting.

Both KHunt and Sam Elliot were "moved on by South" two weeks ago.

Believe Sam will play SFL/GSFL.

Understand there is about to be another casualty.
